Wendy is an Accredited Practising Dietitian; she applies a patient-centred approach to enable clients to reach optimal health and understand the principles of healthy eating and nutritional adequacy. She regularly works with adults, adolescents and children presenting with a range of nutritional concerns and health conditions.
Wendy has extensive experience in the nutritional management of chronic diseases, including: Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, and kidney disease.
In recent roles Wendy has provided nutrition and dietetic support for those with visual impairment, acquired brain injuries (ABI’s) and clients requiring supplemental oral nutrition support, for eligible clients within the NDIS disability arena.
Wendy has worked with parents and children experiencing picky eating and has completed the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding training program.
