Misty Reinkowsky is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. She has worked with adolescents, adults and elderly people presenting with a range of nutrition concerns and conditions, including those using NDIS. Misty specialises in providing nutrition and dietetic support for those with neurological conditions including (e.g., Multiple Sclerosis [MS], Motor Neuron Disease [MND], Multiple Systems Atrophy [MSA], Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Glioblastoma’s [GBM], stroke and acquired brain injuries [ABI’s]).
For those presenting with neurological disorders, Misty’s current specialties she assists many clients who rely on enteral feeding such as a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube to meet their nutrition and hydration requirements. She can assist you in calculating requirements, troubleshooting common issues and providing support to both clients and their families for best practice of enteral feeding. Misty is in close contact with the neurology departments and able to work in unison with many of the major neurology units within the Perth metro and South West areas.
